Title
The Church of the Holy Sepulcher
Description
The Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem contains the sites of Jesus' crucifixion (on Golgotha) as well as the tomb (hence the name, Holy Sepulcher) where we was buried before his resurrection. The Church has been a site of Christian worship for centuries, with the first building undertaken by Constantine in the 4th century CE. It was subsequently destroyed in the 7th century, and then rebuilt, before being destroyed again in the 11th century, and then rebuilt again.
